🤝 Volunteer Opportunities

Chaperone
Travel with the band to competitions and away events as a parent chaperone, ensuring students are safe and supported.
Pit Crew
Help move props, equipment, and instruments on and off the field during marching competitions and performances.
Hospitality
Coordinate meals, snacks, and refreshments for students at band camp, events, and competitions throughout the season.
Fundraising Support
Help organize and run community fundraising events including Pampered Chef, See's Candies, Mulch Sales, and dining events.

📖 Frequently Asked Questions

Is Band Camp mandatory?
Yes — both Pre-Band Camp and Band Camp are mandatory for all Marching Band members. Any real-time updates to dates and times will be communicated via the Band App.
What should my student bring to Band Camp?
See the Band Camp Survival Guide linked above for a full packing list. Key items include plenty of water, sunscreen, athletic clothes, and closed-toe shoes. Parents can also support by sending cases of bottled water to camp.
How do I stay up to date on schedule changes?
All real-time updates are communicated via the Band App. Make sure your family is signed up and notifications are turned on so you never miss an update.
How can I support the band as a parent?
There are many ways to help — volunteer at events, donate to the Family Contribution Campaign, attend competitions to cheer on the Hawks, shop the Merch Store, or encourage your business to become a sponsor. Every bit of support makes a difference!

💰 Family Contribution Campaign

The Family Contribution Campaign is our annual fundraiser that asks each band family to contribute to help fund the program. These contributions directly support every student's participation in the Seaforth Hawks Band.

Funds raised go toward marching band uniforms, instrument repair and replacement, color guard equipment, transportation, competition fees, show music composition, choreography, props, sound equipment, and student recognition.

Every family contribution — large or small — makes a direct impact on our students' experience. We are grateful for the generosity of our Hawks Band community!
